Braille Classes Beginner Braille classes are set up as needed and begin when you are ready. Classes are be held Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Tuition is free, class size is limited. Call Lettie Jackson to register or receive more information. (512) 442-2329
Beginning Computer
Classes are currently running which introduce blind and visually impaired persons to the exciting world of computers. Classes include beginner basics, Microsoft Windows, Window-Eyes, ZoomText, Jaws, Microsoft Word, Internet access, and email services. We teach about special devices available that allow the blind to use computers and how to shop for and purchase your first computer. Tuition is free. Classes meet Saturdays 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and Tuesday evening 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Call Dario Zamora for registration. (512) 442-2329

Vision Aids for the Blind & Visually Impaired Visit our facilities at 2307 Business Center Drive in Austin to browse the catalogs we have available loaded with products designed for the visually impaired. We stock some of the more popular items such as Braille paper, mobility canes, Braille and talking watches, Braille playing cards, magnifiers, cane tips, and more.
