The Austin Lighthouse is excited to announce its participation in the Susan G. Komen Central Texas More Than Pink Walk on Sunday, October 29, at Barton Creek Mall. More than two dozen employees have signed up to show their support for those who have been affected by breast cancer.
The Austin Lighthouse team, led by team captain Mary Godman, an occupational therapy doctoral student working with the Lighthouse on wellness initiatives, will dawn pink shirts with the Lighthouse logo.
The event promises to be a fun-filled day with lots of activities for people of all ages. Participants can choose to walk or run the 5K course, and there will be food, music, and entertainment to keep everyone engaged. The Austin Lighthouse is looking forward to being a part of this important event and invites everyone to join them in supporting the fight against breast cancer. Together, we can make a difference!
